A Day Out

We spent a few hours at the Children's Museum in St. Paul. We've been waiting until she's big enough. We actually waited too long. They had things for 6 months old to do! I was impressed. We were there for four hours and we spent more that half that time in one room!

Pretending to cook and wash dishes. I hope this is a snap shot of the future!

In Our World, Gianna went shopping and "mailed" a baby!

Gianna is going fishing for tadpoles, frogs and lobsters. At the outdoor exhibit, Gianna played in the sand.

There was also water painting outside. Gianna had lots of fun with this! There was a tower to climb. G needed a little help, but she made it all the way to the top.

Gianna loves to drive!

In the Habitot, there were costumes to wear. This is Gianna as a Racoon. Then she burrowed into a log for a "nap"
Gianna loved climbing the rope. One of the exhibits was called Secrets of Circles. Gianna is fascinated with circles. She had a lot of fun playing with circles.

More circles. Gianna try to navigate the boat. She gets a big perspective out the window.

Gianna took a break from playing to read a book. This reminds me a bit of me. She tried her hand at ice fishing.
The Habitot is where she spent the most time. This volunteer helped Gianna play with great toys!

Wow, was she wore out! We didn't even hit the end of driveway of the parking lot before she passed out! We had a great time and we will go again. The Habitot room occupied her for over two hours. What a great day!
