A Sad Day

We have lived in our home for about 5.5 years. One the nicest things about our home is our neighbor, Dawn Flory. She lives with her husband Pat and her 11 year old son Justin. Her mom who we call Grandma is in and out all the time. We have had a lot of great conversations and fun. Dawn took care of Gianna for a short time after she was born. Gianna loves going to Dawn's house to see her, Grandma and Justin. Dawn has been in and out of the hospital since December (mostly in) for various reasons. I was devestated to hear that she passed away this afternoon. There is a big hole in our neighborhood today. I don't have any idea how to explain this to Gianna.
