Mike and I share two days off together in a month. Today was one of those special days. We decided to take Gianna to visit Grandma Sanda and Grandpa Fred. (Grandma Sandy was recently diagnosed with lung cancer). We stopped for gas in Elk River and then Mike wanted to look at the Harley Bikes, too. We looked around the store, okay, Mike dreamed while I chased Gianna. Then we got back into The Bug to be on our way. The car would not start! The car would fire up, but it kept stalling out. After about ten attempts, we called for a tow. It took about two hours! We played on the grass with G, she pretended to drive, turning on the radio, activating the windshield wipers, turning on the brights. She was having fun. She played in the trunk for awhile. At least it was a beautiful day to spend outside. Aunt Susie came and drove me and G home, while Mike accompanied The Bug to BSAW. The VW dealership will pick it up tomorrow to do some warranty work for us.
It was just one of those days for us. Nothing we did could go right. Taco sauce packets wouldn't give up their contents until squeezed very hard, then they squirted across the floor. Our most used remote is MIA. I had the keys to The Bug and had to go to BSAW so they'd be with the car. Despite these little annoying things, it was a good day spent with family.
PS. I found my @!*%(# stamps!!!
