We went to the Renaissance Festival on Saturday. We brought Gianna even though Mike feels that kids don't belong there. At the end of the day, Mike said Gianna did a great job of being good. This is the group we went with, our friend Sheri and her family. Gianna made a "magic" wand and visited the wizard to see if it worked.
It was a very sunny day and we put Mike's hat on Gianna to help shade her from the sun. This guy was amazing. He's balancing several ice shapes on his head. Wow.
Gianna did take a nap at the fest. She was all tuckered out after her fun afternoon. The orange smear on her face is an orange italian ice that she helped me eat. This is a man powered merry go round. She would high five her papa as she went by.
Gianna got her first elephant and pony ride today. She thought it was very cool.
Gianna got to hunt for treasure and after she was done she got to go down the slide. They just waxed it, so she was flying so fast I didn't catch her. Gianna's favorite Ren Fest snack is a pickle. She just loves them.
We were there for seven hours. Our girls went on slides, swings and adventures. It was a good day. We were all so tired when we got home. Gianna slept almost 12 that night.
