I had my first Thanksgiving off in four years!! Since Mike's mom, Sandy has been battling cancer, we went to their house and my sister-in-law and I split the cooking. The Friday before Thanksgiving, Mike's mom was admitted to the hospital with pnuemonia and was unable to be there. It was kind of a sad day without her. Her prensence was definitely missed. There were eightVan Hofwegen grandchildren and the first great grandchild present. We had a houseful.
Gianna really didn't eat much. This should have been the first Thanksgiving she could eat. She made a face at the stuffing and stole her cousin's pumpkin pie. Her auntie got her her own piece and then she only ate the whipped cream. Sweet things are a big treat for her, since she doesn't ever get candy or much in the way of dessert.
Please pray for Sandy that she will heal soon.
