We woke up and opened cards. Today is Gianna's first birthday! First we went to the doctor. She got four shots. We visited the HCMC NICU. The nurses were so glad to see her. One said, "this is why we do our jobs!" Next we went to Olive Garden for a celebratory dinner. Gianna had macaroni & cheese. She didn't eat alot of it. Olive Garden gave her a cake. She didn't completely decimate it. She liked the ice cream. She even used a spoon properly. When we got home, there was a bag of gifts on the door steps from our neighbors. A big day for a big girl.
